Ingredients
  

  • 8 oz. Gluten free pasta
  • 4 tbsp Butter
  • 4 tbsp Gluten free flour
  • 2 cups Milk
  • 2 cups Cheese such as cheddar or Gruyere shredded
  • ½ tsp Salt
  • ¼ tsp Pepper
  • ¼ tsp Garlic powder
  • ¼ tsp Onion powder

Instructions
 

  • To begin, cook the gluten free pasta according to the instructions on the package.
  • Meanwhile, melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Once melted, whisk in gluten free flour to create a roux. Gradually pour in milk while whisking continuously. Allow the mixture to simmer until it thickens.
  • Next, add in the shredded cheese, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Stir until the cheese has fully melted and the sauce is smooth and creamy.
  • Drain the cooked pasta and add it to the cheese sauce. Mix well to evenly coat the pasta.
  • Your gluten free mac and cheese is now ready to be enjoyed!
  • You may decide to bake it, under the broiler, for a few minutes until the cheese on top starts to turn brown and crusty.
  • Serve it as a main dish or as a side alongside your favorite proteins and vegetables. The combination of cheesy goodness and gluten free pasta will surely satisfy your cravings.
